Panattoni Construction breaks ground on a warehouse project for Panama City Port Authority
Panattoni Construction is expanding the geographical footprint for the Panama City Port Authority. The new warehouse will be 150,000-square-foot, and located 231 in north Panama City. Groundbreaking was held November 9, with members of the Panama City Port Authority and local dignitaries in attendance. Cost for infrastructure in and around the building site, including the building itself, is estimated at $11 million. The new “state-of-the-art” distribution warehouse will have 40 dock-height loading doors for product distribution with easy access to both rail and U.S. 231. Panattoni Construction's website panconinc.com won a Stevie of the American Business Awards. Arketi Group, a high-tech business-to-business public relations and digital marketing firm was named as well. The American Business Awards are the nation's premier business awards program. More than 2,800 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in more than 40 categories. Panattoni won in the website category. Finalist were chosen by business professionals nationwide during preliminary judging in April and May. Stevie Award winners will be selected from among the Finalists in each category by members of 10 specialized final judging committees. More than 150 executives participated in judging this year.

For Fielders, There’s No Place Like Home

About 26 hours before the Lake County Fielders were scheduled to bid farewell to their temporary digs in Kenosha and actually become the Lake County Fielders, the left-field foul pole was hoisted into place at their permanent home off Route 173 and Green Bay Road.
A few hundred feet away, the right-field pole lay on the ground, waiting its turn. Elsewhere on the 23-acre site, crews added seating planks to bleachers, raked infield dirt and smoothed out sod that had been put in place over the past weekend.
Watching all from one of the three party decks assembled along the left-field line, team co-owner Rich Ehrenreich – wearing a Panattoni Construction helmet – said everyone was ready to pull an all-nighter…

Crews from Panattoni Construction earlier this month placed the last steel beam for Everett Community College's $24 million Student Health and Fitness Center. The 49,000-square-foot project is located off Broadway Street, near Everett Transit Center's College Station and the college's main campus.
