PANATTONI CONSTRUCTION, INCORPORATED BREAKS GROUND ON 700,000 S.F. DISTRIBUTION FACILITY EDWARDSVILLE, ILLINOIS

Panattoni Construction, Incorporated recently broke ground on a single level warehouse/distribution project, to be known as Lakeview Commerce Center 3, in Edwardsville Illinois. The $18M project will be located on Lakeview Corporate Drive and is expected to be complete in December 2008. The tilt and steel facility, located on 30.5 acres, is an expansion of the existing headquarters of a technology firm and has the capability to incorporate other locations in the future. 50,000 square feet of the building will be utilized as a Lab area that will be used for the testing of telecommunications equipment. Other building features include 30’ clear height, 60x 62, 50 x 50 bay spacing capacity, 64 dock doors and ESFR sprinkler system. Electrical highlights include 480, 3 phase, 2500 amp. 11,500 square feet of the facility will be used for office space and parking for fifty trailers and approximately 150 cars.

PANATTONI CONSTRUCTION BREAKS GROUND FOR CIVIC CENTER PROPERTIES, LLC NORTH LAS VEGAS

Panattoni Construction Incorporated recently broke ground on a 39,100 square foot addition to the Civic Center Corporate Park in North Las Vegas. The single level building will be located at 3828 Civic Center Drive and is the latest complement to the business park which was developed by Panattoni Development Company, LLC. The light industrial building is slated for completion in September 2008. The project will feature concrete tilt construction. The project is in excess of three million dollars. Tectonics Design Group is the architect.

PANATTONI CONSTRUCTION BREAKS GROUND ON 108,000 SQUARE FOOT FACILITY EVERETT, WASHINGTON

Panattoni Construction, Incorporated breaks ground on May 15, 2008 on a 108,172 square foot warehouse facility in Everett, Washington. The property is located at 2208 West Casino Road and is slated for completion in December 2008. The tilt construction facility sits on 7.55 acres and features 24 foot clear height with 17 dock doors. Other highlights include 2 14 x 16 grade doors and 50 x 45 bay spacing. Synthesis PC designed the facility. Patrick Gemma of Panattoni Development Company, LLC is leading the project.

Panattoni Construction, LLC has broken ground on a 1,504,800 square foot build to suit distribution center for the Whirlpool Corporation. The project site is located on 91 acres at 1350 SR Highway 42 in Henry County, Georgia. Construction is slated for completion in June 2009. This contract is in excess of $50 million. The tilt construction building will also comprise 12,000 feet of office space for the appliance firm. Construction highlights include 32’ clear height, 50’ x 60’ staging bays, 146 dry dock capacity with six drive in docks. Additional interesting features include 80’ foot staging bays, multiple 4000 amp services, and an ESFR sprinkler system. Ware Malcomb designed the facility. Panattoni Development Company, LLC led the project Development.

PANATTONI CONSTRUCTION, INCORPORATED BREAKS GROUND ON TWO BUILDINGS DEERFIELD BEACH, FLORIDA

Panattoni Construction recently broke ground on a new project for Prudential Financial Corporation and Panattoni Development Company, LLC. The nine acre site is located at 740 and 750 South Powerline Road in Deerfield Beach. The project consists of two industrial buildings, known as Building 4 and 5, which will encompass 151, 735 and 94,262 square feet of industrial space respectively, for the firm. The facilities will be constructed simultaneously and are slated for completion by Summer 2008. Features include Tilt construction, 24′ clear height and 40′x 50′ bay spacing as well as an ESFR sprinkler system and 277/480V power capacity. Retzsch Lanao Caycedo Architects designed the buildings. Panattoni Development Company and Prudential Financial developed the project.

PANATTONI CONSTRUCTION, INCORPORATED SELECTED FOR LOCAL AUTO DEALERSHIP′S RELOCATION SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA Rapton Investment Group, LLC has tapped Sacramento based Panattoni Construction for Mel Rapton′s Sacramento Honda relocation and expansion one mile north to 3630 Fulton Avenue. The 73,423 square foot facility reflects Mel Rapton′s 45-years of sales and service in the greater Sacramento area. The expanded facility will add thirty employees to the growing company. Panattoni Construction is slated to break ground in December and expects completion in the fall of 2008. The concrete tilt-up building features a radiused curtain wall of blue and clear glass at the entry to the two-story showroom. The nine-acre site will accommodate Mel Rapton′s administrative offices, sales, service and a free standing car wash utilizing reclaimed water. Forrar William Architects and Planners is project Architect. Mortgage lending services provided by Waller, Kaufman and Sutter. PANATTONI CONSTRUCTION, INCORPORATED TAPPED TO BREAK GROUND FOR 410,000 SQUARE FOOT PROJECT AURORA, CO Panattoni Construction, Incorporated has been awarded a $24,000,000 contract to design and construct an 410,000 square foot regional distribution center for a worldwide appliance firm. The project is slated to break ground in 4TH quarter 2008. The Whirlpool Corporation will house their operations on a prime 32 acre site located on East 36th Avenue and Odessa Way in Aurora. Building features include 32′ clear height, 80′ staging bays, 40′ x 50′ typical bays and 56 dock doors with two drive in doors. Power capacity of 3000 amps and an ESFR fire protection system are additional highlights of this substantial facility. Ware Malcomb is the architect for the project. Brady Williams of Panattoni Development Company′s National-Build-to-Suit group is leading the project.

PANATTONI CONSTRUCTION, INCORPORATED TAPPED TO BREAK GROUND FOR NEARLY 1 MILLION SQUARE FOOT PROJECT FREDERICKSON, WASHINGTON Panattoni Construction, Incorporated has been awarded a $50,000,000 contract to design and construct an 891,600 square foot regional distribution center for a worldwide appliance firm. The project is slated to break ground in Spring 2008. The Whirlpool Corporation will house their operations on a prime 49 acre site located on East 38th Avenue in Frederickson. Building features include 32′ clear height, 60′ staging bays, 54′ x 50 typical bays and 100 dock doors with two drive in doors. Power capacity of 4000 amps and an ESFR fire protection system are additional highlights of this substantial facility. Ware Malcomb is the architect for the project. Panattoni Construction, Incorporated is slated to complete a 156, 786 multi building project in the fall of 2007. The ten buildings are located between 14716-14802 Yorba Court in Chino, California. All buildings are speculative and feature tilt up construction.

The facilities are located on 8.6 acres of space and shall be demised into 16 suites for light industrial and distribution utilization.

In an ever-growing Southwest market, Panattoni Construction, Incorporated added to its recent 429,000 square foot project by breaking ground on a second building that will complement the current facility by 390,000 square feet. Both buildings, located at 6640 and 6650 Echo Avenue respectively, are located in Reno, Nevada.

The single level distribution facilities both feature tilt construction and are slated for completion in June 2007. Urban Outfitters is expanding into 6640 Echo Avenue as a regional distribution center and will have thirty employees. The building located at 6650 Echo Avenue is a speculative project for the nationally acclaimed construction firm.

Panattoni Construction Inc. recently completed a 254,780 square foot industrial project in Riverside, California. The development is located at 796 Palmyrita Street and includes ten buildings on 13.8 acres. Facilities will be utilized for office/warehouse and industrial purposes. The project features concrete tilt-up construction and multi-tenant truck dock -high buildings. One unique characteristic of this project is the addition of twenty small condominium units within the industrial park.

Panattoni Construction Completes a 416,935 SF project in Ontario, CA. The three building business park, located at 5300, 5350 and 5400 Ontario Mills Parkway respectively, is the latest national builder's addition to the Southern California market.

Each of the single story facilities feature tilt up construction and will be utilized for light industrial and distribution purposes. The total space will be divided into twenty four suites. The project is located on 9.16 acres.

PANATTONI CONSTRUCTION APPOINTS CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA

Panattoni Construction, Inc. announces that Bruce Stimson will assume the title of Chief Financial Officer for the company. Stimson’s primary responsibilities include the direction and managing of financial and administrative functions for Panattoni Construction nationwide. The new CFO is also involved in Panattoni’s Executive Committee and will oversee all company related operations He will be headquartered in the firm’s Sacramento office.

Stimson previously served in the same capacity for a privately owned construction materials company in Napa, California and was Vice President of Finance for a construction and materials firm in Sacramento.

In making the announcement, Chief Executive Officer Denny Boom stated, " We are fortunate to have someone of Bruce’s caliber and expertise contribute to our executive team and continue to lead the growth of our company."
Bruce added, "I look forward to the prospect of being an integral part of the continuing evolution of the firm. …"

Riverside, CA -- Panattoni Development Company, LLC has negotiated one of its largest leases in its history with Big 5 Sporting Goods, the largest sporting goods chain in the Western United States. The one million square foot distribution facility will be located within the Sycamore Canyon Business Park in Riverside, California and is scheduled for completion during summer, 2005. This lease is a result of the cooperative efforts of the city of Riverside and Big 5 Sporting Goods.

The facility will feature the most current technology for product distribution for Big 5. The $30 million
facility will bring 300 jobs to the city of Riverside. This building is reportedly one of the biggest that will
be built in the US this year,said Jeff Phelan, local Partner for Panattoni Development. Panattoni Construction is the General Contractor on the project.

7,500 SF Office Building  

College Station, TX -- Panattoni Construction, Inc. announced today, the ground breaking of a 7,500 SF office building. This single story office building will be partially occupied by Terra Title Company, LLC, who will occupy 4,000 SF, the remaining space will be for future lease. The Boys and Girls club Teichert Branch of Sacramento was the recipient of a finalist award at the banquet held at the Fairmont hotel in San Francisco.

This project is the culmination of a broad-based collaborative effort and eight years of un-flagging commitment, between local community members, businessmen, subcontractors, suppliers, architects and engineers – all of whom donated many of their services or materials to help make this project a reality.

The single story 32,538 square-tilt-up building will bring the Lemon Hill Community of Sacramento much needed assistance with the 11,000 youth population that live within a 2-mile radius of the Club. The Boys and Girls club will provide these children a 5-core area program consisting of Character & Leadership Development, Education and Career Development, Health & Life Skills, Arts, and Sports and Recreation, along with day-to-day homework assistance and nutritious meals.

The Boys and Girls Club facility was designed and built specifically for youth programs and activities. The objective was to create a kid-friendly accessible facility, easily maintained, with visual security control of program spaces. The interior spaces accommodate many different types of programs: Classrooms, Computer Education Technology Center, Library Learning Center, Science Life Skills, Arts & Crafts, Teen Center, Gymnasium, Community Multi-Purpose Room, Kitchen, Kid’s Café, Main Activities Game Room, and Administrative Offices. Exterior covered patio area overlooks a soccer field and vegetable garden.

This project also allows and encourages people of the community to donate their time as volunteers for all programs.

The Home Depot, the world's largest home-improvement specialty store and the second largest retailer in the U.S., will occupy the new building @ Windham Industrial Center VII in February of 2004. The expansion is scheduled for completion during the second quarter of this year. Windham Industrial Center VII is located at the northeast corner of Weber Road and I-55 with excellent exposure and immediate access to the interstate system. When completed, the distribution center will provide parking for 300 trailers and 225 cars, 150 exterior truck-level docks, 48' by 42' column spacing, a 30-foot clear warehouse ceiling, a 56' interior staging bay, four drive-in doors, and an ESFR sprinkler system. Windham Industrial Center VII built by Panattoni Construction, Inc., and designed by Julius Kwasek with Inverness, IL-based Kwasek Architects, Inc., which also designed five other buildings in the park. Panattoni's property management company, PDC Properties, Inc., will manage the facility under the direction of Linda Armstrong, Property Manager. The 500-acre Windham Lakes Business Park has 100 acres of available land, comprised of 12 build-to-suit sites ranging in size from two to 40 acres, capable of supporting a total of 2,500,000 SF of space with buildings ranging from 20,000 SF to 800,000 SF.

Dallas, TX -- Panattoni Construction Company announced today that it will break ground next week on a 360,000-square-foot distribution facility for Clorox at its new NorthPort office, retail and industrial park. The project is being designed by Alliance Architects. NorthPort is Panattoni’s new 200-acre development along State Highway 114 at Interstate 35W, directly across from the Texas Motor Speedway.

The development combines 2 million square feet of industrial distribution space with 30 acres of multifamily and 55 acres of retail. Frontage on both State Highway 114 and Interstate 35W give NorthPort exceptional visibility and accessibility.

Neiman Marcus Direct Chefs Catalog Division will open in Pinnacle Park West

Panattoni Construction recently broke ground on Pinnacle Park West I, a 472,250-square-foot building that is the first phase of a two-building project totaling 1,045,000 square feet.

Construction of phase one will be complete in February 2004. The development is located within Pinnacle Park, an 880-acre, master-planned business park along Interstate 30 just west of the Dallas Central Business District. Panattoni Development is also nearing completion on two additional buildings in Pinnacle Park, a 71,619-square-foot project for Hardies Fruit and Vegetables Company, Inc. and a 64,767-square-foot project for Heritage Farms, LLC.

PANATTONI DEVELOPMENT COMPANY, LLC AND PANATTONI CONSTRUCTION INC., BEGIN CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW FIRESTONE DISTRIBUTION FACILITY

858,000 SF FacilityDes Moines, IA -- Panattoni Development Company, LLC and Panattoni Construction, Inc., announced today the construction start-up of an 858,000 square foot build-to-suit 66th Avenue, just north of the city of Des Moines. This will be the second facility that Padistribution facility for Firestone Agricultural Tire Division. The facility is located off Interstate Highway 35 near Northeast nattoni Development Company has developed for Firestone. Completion date for the project is slated to be Dec 31, 2003.

The facility is expected to generate significant revenue for local businesses in central Iowa. The center will be used to distribute tires to markets in the United States, Canada and more than 70 countries worldwide, and is expected have around 45 employees.

Located in Des Moines, Iowa, Firestone Agricultural Tire Division manufactures agricultural, industrial and forestry tires. Firestone offers sales and service through a global dealer organization

Panattoni Construction break ground on second phase of Beltway 8 Corporate Center, Houston, TX

Panattoni Construction, Inc, announced the construcion start-up of a 102,500 SF office Project for Panattoni Development Company.  The project is located inthe Beltway 8 Corporate Center located between Interstate 10 and US 290.

Phase II designed by Kirksey Architects, provides office users with an extremely efficient floor plan and a very attractive office environment.  The building will meet the international energy code and will feature a radius curtain wall entrance, fountain, brick pavers and aluminum trellis.  The project is slated for completion mid July.

Panattoni Construction builds facility for Simmons manufacturing

Sumner, WA Panattoni Construction, Inc. today announced the construction start-up of a 235,000 SF manufacturing facility that will house Simmons Manufacturing as the major tenant.  The facility is located at Ranier Park of Industry in Sumner, WA.

December 2002 -

American Leather becomes third tenant at Mountain Creek Business Park in Dallas, TX - Panattoni Construction has broken ground on a new $10 million manufacturing facility for American Leather LP, a privately-held furniture maker based in Dallas. The project is located in Mountain Creek Business Park, one of the newest master-planned business parks in Dallas, spanning 410 acres along Interstate 20. The new 205,000 SF build-to-suit facility features two-story high windows, skylights and air-conditioning in the factory.

TCA 2003 Achievement Awards - Guittard Chocolate, a 286,000 SF manufacturing facility with warehouse and distribution capabilities located in Fairfield, CA, was a successful entry in the TCA 2003 competition. The building will eventually provide public tours, factory outlets and cooking schools. The TCA 2003 Achievement Awards ceremony will be held in February 2003 in Las Vegas.

November 2002 -

Panattoni Construction Inc. teamed with Panattoni Development to mark completion of their latest project at Windham Lakes Business Park, located in the southwest Chicago suburb of Romeoville, Illinois. A dedication ceremony for the 488,000 SF Windham Industrial Center VII was held at the site and was followed by a reception at Branmor's American Grill in Bolingbrook.

California Construction Link's Best of California 2002 Winners - Panattoni Construction was awarded two Best of California 2002 awards by McGraw Hill's California Construction Link. Gold Pointe Corporate Center took home the award for the Sacramento Valley Class-A project. Gold Point Corporate Center is a four-building project totaling 379,700 SF, located in the exclusive community of Gold River in Rancho Cordova, CA. Major tenants include Healthnet, The Hartford, Washington Mutual, Corvel, Waste Management, Axa Advisors, and Hubbert Systems Consulting. Building E - the latest building in the corporate center - broke ground in December 2002.

The second award in the Sacramento Valley Education division was given to Panattoni Construction's Christian Brothers High School, Science, Math and Technology Wing project. This state-of-the-art project represents the culmination of a community who worked tirelessly to bring its vision and the project to fruition. The 33,800 SF project features two Biology/Anatomy/Physiology Laboratory rooms, two Physics/Physical Science rooms, two Chemistry rooms, one Chemical Storage room, and a Faculty Lounge, work area and Preparation corridor. It also features a Multi-Media Center, a Technology/Computer Center and Newspaper Classroom.

Sacramento Boys and Girls Club - Panattoni Construction participated in a groundbreaking ceremony for the Sacramento Boys and Girls Club, located at Lemon Hill and 14th Avenue, Sacramento, CA. Sacramento Mayor Heather Fargo and many county officials spoke at the event. Fred Tiechert, Director of the Teichert Foundation, a driving force in bringing the Sacramento Boys and Girls Club to fruition, was recognized for his contributions and persistence in the process. President of the Sacramento Boys and Girls Club KJ Lavoie, who also worked tirelessly on the project, thanked many public and private sectors of the community for not giving up and keeping the vision alive. The project is due for completion in September 2003.

ACI "Unique Use of Concrete" Award - Panattoni Construction received an award for "Unique use of Concrete" for the company's Granite Regional Park, Building 'D' in Sacramento, CA at the 2002 ACI annual award banquet held at the Sheraton Four Points, Pleasanton, CA. Granite Regional Park was previously an old gravel mining pit and is being transformed into a one million SF multi-use Business Park. A partnership of Granite Construction, City of Sacramento, Panattoni Development Company and Separovich/Domich has currently built four office buildings on the site, with two more planned in the near future. The park features a lake surrounded by soccer fields, baseball facilities, an enclosed acre dog park, and horseshoe pits. Another 18-acre park is scheduled to be completed in Spring 2003.

New Automotive Showrooms in Elk Grove Auto Mall - Panattoni Construction hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for three new Automotive showrooms in the Elk Grove Auto Mall, Elk Grove, CA. The new showrooms are being built by Panattoni Construction for Lasher Acura, Dodge and Volkswagen. Wes Lasher and his sons Mark and Scott Lasher said their family is very pleased to be able to be in the Elk Grove Auto Mall and hope to be a wonderful addition to the Elk Grove business community. The Elk Grove Auto Mall is currently 87 acres, equal in size to the popular Roseville Auto Mall. An additional 30 acres slated for Phase III will expand the Elk Grove Auto Mall to 117 acres, making it the largest auto mall in the USA.

October 2002 - Dependable Heating and Air - Panattoni Construction broke ground on a 50,000 SF project in Dixon, CA for Dependable Heating and Air. The building will be an expansion for the Hansen family, who currently has a facility in Vacaville, CA. The project is scheduled for completion in May 2003.

April 2002 - New Science Wing gives students room to fly - Christian Brothers High School held its grand opening Monday, April 8th. The state of-the-art science, math and technology wing built by Panattoni Construction features classrooms with interactive whiteboards that capture written text or drawings and saves the information onto a computer so it can be printed, e-mailed or even loaded onto the Web. The $7.8 million cost of the two-story wing represents the largest amount ever raised for a school project in the Sacramento Diocese. All Classrooms in the wing have a custom-made podium with laptop computer. From the podium in the front of the room, teachers can control a screen, document camera, VCR, TV, cassette player and projector.

February 2002 -

United Stationer's Supply Company - Panattoni Construction began construction on United Stationer's 250,000 SF warehouse/distribution center, located on Roseville Road, Sacramento, CA. United Stationers Supply Co. is the largest wholesaler of office supplies and equipment in the country. The new center will employ approximately 50 people and includes classrooms for occasional training programs. The new building will replace two other centers in the region and allow for expansion. The project is due for completion September 2002.

Iron Mountain - Panattoni Construction began 33,000 SF warehouse expansion project for Iron Mountain in Sacramento, CA. The project is slated for completion in June 2002.

2001 Archives

Mountain Creek Business Park - Panattoni Construction broke ground November 2001 on the first building of a 410-acre master-planned commercial development park located in Dallas, TX. Mountain Creek Business Park has approximately 4,000,000 SF of proposed office, distribution and warehouse space.

The first building is a 210,000 SF design/build distribution facility for Jack-in-the-Box, which will occupy 105,000 SF. The 'food grade' building consists of approximately 32,000 SF of freezer space, 16,000 SF of cooler space for cold storage and 9,300 SF of office space.

The building includes ESFR Fire Protection, 2500 amp service, 32-foot clear height, single-ply TPO membrane roof and tilt-up construction with structural steel frame.

Beltway 8 Corporate Center - Panattoni Construction broke ground on the 107-acre master-planned business park, located at 5300 West Sam Houston Parkway North at Clay Road in Houston, TX in October 2001.

The first office building contains 102,500 SF available for lease. Building features include nine-foot ceilings in tenant areas, fully sprinklered, fiber optic ready and dedicated conduit for supplemental generator in place. HVAC system is comprised of Trane air-cooled rooftop units (320 ton capacity), allowing for unsurpassed individual control and economical after-hours usage. Electrical service is 2,500 amps, parking ratio approximately 4/1,000 with covered parking available.

Distinctive exterior lighting and landscaping make this project one of the most sought-after suburban office locations in Houston.

Cameron Plaza - Panattoni Construction broke ground in October 2001 on Cameron Plaza, located in Portland, OR. Cameron Plaza is a two-story steel and brick structure. 10,200 SF will be occupied by EEI Solutions for their Corporate Offices, and will be used as a call center. A 2,000 SF data center complete with backup generator and fiber optic connection are planned for the space. The building has one elevator, an IT Center approximately 1400 SF and a computer floor of approximately 983 SF.
